From the Spanish and Portuguese name Teresa. The meaning is uncertain, but
it could be derived from Greek θερος (theros) "summer", from Greek θεριζω (therizo)
"to harvest", or from the name of the Greek island of Thera (the main island
of Santorini). A famous bearer was Maria Theresa, an Austrian Habsburg queen
of the 18th century. She inherited the domains of her father, Charles VI,
the Holy Roman Emperor, which began the War of the Austrian Succession.

Family: My amazing parents, who have seen me at my best and worst and craziest, and are always there to make me laugh and carry me over rough waters. I have the best parents in the world XD! I enjoy spending time with my family, because they are my dearest friends and my support system. I love them so much and the feeling of love I receive from them, makes my life spectacular. Though I'm an only child, I seek companionship in my dearest cousins who have been beside me since I was a wee child! I love traveling to different parts of the country to visit them and meet even more extended family. (Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten - Disney's Lilo and Stitch )

Garden is my most favorite band! I've loved/listened/relaxed to them since
1995. Their music was ahead a of its time and done so well. The vocalist,
Darren Hayes has a voice that is so clear and soft with such feeling. It's
no wonder I can't stop listening to them. Lyrically, they write about true
life relationships and about life in general. No cursing or any negativity
in their songs. They are fabulous!

Baseball - a sport I never thought I would really like until late 2004! Now I know recent and some past players of some major league teams, but my faithfulness is with the New York Yankees. 26 World Series Champions with past and present players such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, and Derek Jeter! I've gone to games, I own tons of merchandise and I watch almost all 162 games! I live for This and I love my Yankees!
